Green Houses/Irrigation Lines/Algae Control

Carcass Wash

SMT products are so gentle that, when used as directed, they are a highly effective carcass and produce wash.

Through a separate line of products, Selectrocide® A-10 and A-15, is designed specifically for fresh-cut produce and poultry applications. The FDA determined Selective Micro’s chlorine dioxide products meet the criteria of 21 CFR 173.300 and issued a Food Contact Notification (FCN) of the product as a Food Contact Substance (FCS), effective October 1, 2004. In addition, FCN 645, effective December 22, 2006, removed the 173.300 requirement that uses of the product on fresh-cut produce be followed by a post-processing potable water rinse.

SMT products are also certified by the Organic Materials Review Institute (OMRI) to be organic.
